Association
Message
The California Revenue Officers Association is represented by
a multitude of California Cities, Counties, Special Districts
and Governmental entities. They are responsible for collecting
a wide variety of debts and restitution. Our expertise comes from
years of education and experience. Collectors are constantly trained
and retrained in the most modern and effective ways to pursue
collections.
While these are worthy endeavors they are only productive if
the money due is collected. It is estimated that billions of dollars
go uncollected each year throughout the United States.
Some of this revenue, if collected, would assist in hiring more
collectors, or enhancing programs and services. Ultimately, the
hardworking tax paying citizens of our communities suffer when
moneys needed to fund programs are left uncollected.
We, as collectors and supervisors, realize that there will always
be a percentage of non-collectable debt. This is also necessary
and important information. When should you discontinue collections?
When does the debt begin to drain your resources instead of enhancing
them? How does your organization deal with these accounts? Our
annual conference delves into these types of issues.
It is vital to the success of every work environments that individuals
at all levels are allowed to participate in training and seminars.
Participating in an annual conference breathes new life into your
organization. Employees, and supervisors, return to work with
a fresh outlook, renewed vigor, and the tools necessary to accomplish
the objectives of the organization.
Please browse our website, and consider who you will reward with
a place at our annual conference. Once you have participated you
will be compelled to return.
